These less heavy weight high security leg irons weigh slightly under a kilo and have approximately 26cm of chain between the two 75mm irons which are secured using a 'Yale' type tumbler lock. Each lock has a screw on black plastic cap. These leg irons are clearly intended for long term use for prisoners of smaller stature.
