These are the excellent new hinged handcuffs with two interior independent locking mechanisms to facilitate keyholes each side.  There is a pretty obvious advantage to the duty officer who has less of a struggle to locate a keyhole.  These, along with all the other TCH models will comply with the new October 2017 NIJ standard.  The matt black finish is especially advantageous to covert forces.
