This transport set is designed for transporting seated prisoners, either in the back of a patrol car or a prison van.  The Yuil type leg irons have just three links of chain to severely restrict the prisoner's foot movements.  The leg irons are joined to a pair of Yuil handcuffs with just 17 inches (44 cm) of chrome plated chain making standing up quite an issue!  Once he or she is belted into the car/van seat there is very little the prisoner can do to disrupt the smooth passage to Court.
