These high security leg irons weigh 1.75 kilos and have approximately 60cm of chain between the two 8cm irons which are secured using a ?Yale? type tumbler lock.  This lock is made further secure by a stainless steel cover which is secured with two countersunk posi? screws.  These leg irons are clearly intended for long term use, hence the very high security.
