| The hinge on these handcuffs resembles interlocking fingers, four on one side, three on the other. They are very strong and give a higher degree of control than the ordinary chain linked handcuffs. Brought out around 2005, they differ from the earlier Alcyon hinged model as the locking device is the Smith and Wesson type as opposed to the small pin operation. The black oxide finish cuts down light reflection, helpful in covert situations. |
